This week we went back to the Magazzini Raccordati together with Allegra Martin, a talented photographer with a background as architect. Allegra helped us to switch point of view while looking at:

_people who tell a lot about the story of this place, even without saying anything
_traces left by people who used and “lived” the magazzini, by residents who claim a blooming past wiped out by degradation, by those who discreetly leave a mark, by vandals defacing walls
_details those seen by everyone but especially the ones mostly unseen by anyone, those important ones such as cracks in the structure and those less visible but useful to understand the story of the place and which can help you to find some more interesting details
_context which makes us understand that the two sides of the magazzini are very different and refer to different aspects of milano

In the late afternoon Allegra showed us some works of famous photographers who personally described a “place” through their shots.

Alla fine della giornata Allegra ci ha raccontato come alcuni fotografi celebri hanno raccontano un luogo osservandolo dal loro punto di vista.
